Accommodation options:

For a genuine Cambridge experience delegates have the option to be accommodated in one of the historic Cambridge colleges near the conference venue. Both ensuite and standard college rooms can be booked. In addition, we can recommend a number of fine Cambridge hotels.

College Accommodation

We offer two types of rooms in colleges: basic level student rooms at Emmanuel and comfortable ensuite rooms at Caius. Booking for these rooms will be provided via the upcoming online registration on this website.

A) Emmanuel College

Emmanuel College, located in the heart of Cambridge, is one of the larger colleges in town. It is known not only for the ducks parading its generous gardens, but of course a number of famous personalities that once were amongst its students. Famous alumni include John Harvard, founding benefactor of Harvard University and Thomas Young who deciphered the Rosetta stone, giving access to our knowledge of Egyptian hyroglyphs.

Rooms offered at Emmanuel are standard student rooms with shared bathroom facilities. They are available at a rate of £40+VAT / night. The level of accommodation is basic, breakfast is included. To locate the college, refer to 'A' on the map below. Reserve via the online registration.

If Emmanuel accommodation is all taken, we have similar rooms in reserve at other Colleges.

B) Gonville & Caius College

Gonville & Caius College (in local slang, pronounce 'keys') is located in the very center of town.

Rooms offered at Caius college are comfortable ensuite bedrooms in the Stephen Hawking building, located in the college annex at Harvey Court, a modern facility only few steps away from the conference venue. They are available at a rate of £75+VAT / night. The level of accommodation is comfortable, breakfast is included. To locate the college, refer to 'B' on the map below. Reserve via the online registration.

Availability of ensuite rooms at Caius is limited, so if you prefer this option, please make a timely reservation.
