Want to join the team? We are currently accepting applications for next year's summit team. We have already received several CVs and interest from students from a variety of backgrounds and experience. They are all motivated by similar goals of carbon-stewarship and thus next year's summit should be even better. If you are interested the details are below.

explaining
your motivations, what you can bring to the society and potential time
commitment. The following positions are open:
**Treasurer - shall be responsible for keeping track of financials and working closely to assist Sponsorship Officer
**Media Officer - shall be responsible for updating website and developing new media with details of upcoming event
**Marketing Officer - shall be responsible for the marketing of events and the society, as well as maintaining a good relationship with other societies, parties, institutes and departments
**Sponsorship Officer - shall be responsible to re-new current sponsorship deals and find new sponsors for the society

Thank you for your participation and interest in our summit. It ended as a huge success and brought together speakers, students, researchers, policy makers, entrepreneurs, and business leaders in an unprecedented forum in Cambridge. With such a high-powered, passionate group of people ready to make positive change, several important connections have been forged.

Summit Objectives
Responding to a need felt amongst senior policy makers, investors, business and academic leaders, this summit aims to step-up collaborations and understanding between these groups in an open-minded and politically neutral international forum. This summit will allow the latest research and ideas to be presented by international experts from the key fields involved in tackling climate change.
'Entrepreneurship for a Zero Carbon Society' is designed to bring together cutting-edge energy research and innovative businesses to move the highly multidisciplinary clean energy innovation community forward on the scale required for a carbon free future. Relevant fields also include environmental tax reform and commercialization of low-carbon technologies. Pioneering technologies will be showcased by industrial participants as well as the latest student research in these areas.
All who are interested in
politics, policy
making, science, engineering, energy supply and green-technology are
welcome. Held in the historic city of Cambridge amongst its impressive
ancient and modern buildings, the meeting includes a banquet and plenty
of opportunity for relaxed discussion and networking. We look forward
